Police release Tiger Woods' DUI arrest video

Woods was cited with driving under the influence and improper parking because his auto was found on the roadway.

"I'm following the light", Woods says. The responding officer reported that Woods' speech was "slow and slurred" and that he "did not know where he was".

The video shows Woods walking unsteadily, then returning to begin the tests.

Police ask Woods, "Do you remember being asleep at the wheel? No".

Woods replies that he is going to his house. "Woods stated that he did not know where he was". He tells Fandrey he hasn't been drinking.

Woods said in a statement.

After Woods was awoken by police, he failed four field sobriety tests.

Years removed from his old swagger, golf legend Tiger Woods was seen swaying while trying to walk in a straight line for Florida cops.

He was given the walk and turn test, a one-leg stand test, finger to nose test and asked to recite the Romberg alphabet. According to a police report obtained by Us Weekly, authorities had to wake up the athlete.

Djokovic and Nadal win first up at Roland Garros
Nadal was in imperious form as he closed out the match in just under two hours as he bids for a 15th grand slam crown. Since beating Andy Murray in last year's final, Djokovic has failed to add any more major titles to his collection.

He also stops to tie his shoe, but reaches for the wrong one and is reminded that it is other shoe that has come undone. He eventually took them off. He was asked to perform a series of tests, including a breathalyzer test, he blew 0.00.

The passenger side rear tail-light was also not working. The tire on the auto is severely popped, and the rim was badly damaged, meaning he must've been going pretty fast and hit something pretty hard to pull off what he did to the tires. The prescription drugs he was taking are believed to be what caused his impairment. Woods was taken to jail and subsequently released on his own recognizance.

The 14-time major champion was found asleep at the wheel of his black Mercedes when officers found his vehicle at the side of a road about a 15-20-minute drive from his home in Hobe Sound.

"I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions", Woods said in a statement Monday.

"I didn't realise the mix of medications had affected me so strongly", Woods said.

Fellow Australian Jason Day said his first reaction was one of relief that close friend Woods wasn't injured.

"It has been just over a month since I underwent fusion surgery on my back, and it is hard to express how much better I feel".

Woods has a scheduled arraignment hearing on July 5.
