Microsoft announces Xbox One X console

Microsoft Corporation on Sunday added a new and most powerful gaming console under its Xbox One family, dubbed as the "Xbox One X" at the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2017 press conference in Los Angeles. The highly anticipated gaming console was finally introduced at this year's E3 giving gamers and tech enthusiasts alike something to watch out for come November. Microsoft anticipated this, however, and what followed was a veritable smorgasbord of new titles and exclusives to show off the power of the Xbox One X.

It's significantly more powerful than the Xbox One S and, crucially, Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro, with its 4.2 teraflop graphics processing unit and 911 Mhz CPU.

What will the Microsoft Xbox One X be like?

We also got to see Shadow of War in the teaser for Xbox One X but nothing was announced to that is a bit of a cliffhanger.

Bobbi Kristina's ex Nick Gordon arrested for domestic violence, kidnapping
Gordon was taken into custody and is facing two charges, domestic violence battery and kidnapping/false imprisonment of an adult. But the medical examiner couldn't determine if she killed herself, if someone else killed her or if her death was accidental.

Those here in the United States who are interested in purchasing the Xbox One X should keep an eye on this Amazon page.

Anthem is set to release in 2018 for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.

Formally announced back in April, the Xbox One X represents a ground-up mid-stream hardware refresh for Microsoft's flagship gaming console and is positioned to better Sony's rival PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro) in nearly every area. There are close similarities between the Xbox One S and Xbox One X, but the latter is smaller in design. It looks like Microsoft will continue using an eight core AMD processor, which is most likely the same chip that's already in the current Xbox One but clocked to a higher frequency. We also rounded up the biggest games that were mentioned in the official Xbox One X keynote. The overall scale and co-op play looks fun so we'll wait for more information before anything else. To provide more immersive gaming experience, the console is coming with Dolby Atmos support.

The original Xbox is almost 16 years old, meaning a lot of younger gamers will have never experienced playing on one. And because the Xbox One X is designed (largely) around existing games, these won't require developers to build custom patches for players to enjoy the noticeable performance boost that Microsoft is promising when the new console hits the shelves.
