Martellus Bennett Spent First Night at Packers Camp Sleeping on the Floor

Packers tight end Martellus Bennett has been called "cheesy" before, but the name seemed to fit perfectly as he conducted interviews Thursday wearing a foam cheesehead.

It's been a longstanding tradition for Packers players to stay in the college dorm during training camp. Here's to hoping the dorms at St. Norbert College don't have any ghosts either. Just go spend the night somewhere else.

Packers fans will have to wait a few weeks to see hometown hero Vince Biegel play for Green Bay. And since he apparently couldn't find a dorm to crash for the night, he made a decision to camp out in front of his locker at nearby Lambeau Field.

"Just got to Green Bay not too long ago and couldn't get into the dorms, so now I'm sleeping on the floor (in front of) my locker", Bennett said in a video he posted on his Instagram account.

Green does not seem too anxious about the lawsuit, however, telling ESPN that he is confident things will be resolved soon. The lawsuit is tied to an incident where green allegedly slapped a former Michigan State football player last July.

"Sleeping on the floor doesn't bother me", Bennett said, via Sports Illustrated's Scooby Axson. "I don't know anything about it".

"I was here late last night so he must've come after I left", McCarthy said, via Aaron Nagler of PackersNews.com.

"It does not bother me to sleep on the floor".

He's going to be a big target for Rodgers, especially in the red zone. Unfortunately, for Bennett that meant he got locked out.
