Spotify on Xbox rumors heat up

Now, The Verge's sources have confirmed that the app is being tested internally at Microsoft. However, the Xbox console has been missing support for the service, but that may be about to change.

There has been no official announcement from Microsoft or Spotify in regards to this sighting but it does look like we will be seeing the app in the near future for all Xbox users to download.

It seems that a Spotify Xbox One App is finally inbound. But if that was the only evidence, this might be little more than smoke. Microsoft still operates Groove Music, which began life as Xbox Music in 2012, but Spotify has the clear advantage in terms of subscriber reach.

Pakistan expresses concern over launch of intercontinental ballistic missile by North Korea
Japan's prime minister Shinzo Abe today said he and Mr Trump had agreed on the need for action on North Korea. Davis said that the first USA confirmation of the launch occurred while the ICBM was still in flight.

Earlier this week, images popped up on Reddit, showing that Microsoft's Larry Hryb (better known in the Xbox community as Major Nelson) was using "Spotify Music - for Xbox". The app also seamlessly integrates into the PlayStation 4's quick menu overlay, which we expect would function similarly on the Xbox One. It nearly odd to think that Spotify isn't on Xbox One yet, but considering that a Spotify app just arrived on the Windows 10 Store back in the June, the timing certainly seems right for a debut on Xbox One.

It's not clear yet when Spotify will arrive, but it's likely Microsoft will announce a slew of software enhancements when the Xbox One X arrives in November.
