There is a growing feeling at Old Trafford this summer that the league title could finally return to the club after five years away and Owen shares those sentiments.

Pogba's world-record deal has now been surpassed by Paris Saint-Germain, who paid €222m (£198.6m) in signing Neymar from Barcelona.

Jose Mourinho finally got his man last week, bringing Nemanja Matic from Chelsea to Manchester United. While releasing Pogba to do his thing in midfield is important, his biggest job may well be protecting the less-than-impressive defence that sits behind him.

He featured in all the pre-season fixtures, including the 2-1 victory over Sampdoria in Dublin.

Last season, only Ibrahimovic reached double figures in the Premier League, with Juan Mata's six the next best.

"It's going to be a thrilling shootout with the neighbours across town - and for me, only United are equipped to match them".

"I've come back and I feel calm, I feel stronger mentally and physically".

Jacobson, the school spokeswoman, said Carlson graduated with the Minnehaha Academy class of 1953 and went to Sunday school there. The Hennepin County Emergency Management confirms that natural gas from contracted construction caused the school explosion.

"He needs time. We are going to give him his time". They were reliant on Zlatan Ibrahimovic for goals last season, and a change of system with Romelu Lukaku leading the line could take time to click.

"I just want to make sure that I can show everyone at the training ground and inside the stadium what I can do", he explained.

"Expensive are the ones that get to a certain level without a certain quality". However, with Mourinho's eye for detail and a squad of great goal scorers and top tacticians on the club's benches, the chances of the Red Devils scaling the heights of the next Champions League are looking rosier than ever.

City led the charge of big spenders in the close season, shelling out almost £100m on a pair of full-backs alone.

United signed Nemanja Matic from Chelsea as the Serbian worldwide was the 20-time English champions' third signing of this summer.

The arrival of Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof will provide the squad with more defensive resilience and Pogba will have more opportunity to express his expertise. The Red Devils' supporters will be hoping to see the best of the Frenchman next season.
