The Bachelorette' finale was an actual nightmare

"I would do it all over again if it led me back to you", she continued about meeting and dating Abasolo on The Bachelorette.

On Monday night's season finale of "The Bachelorette", Rachel Lindsay accepted a proposal - and a 3-carat diamond ring - from Miami-based chiropractor Bryan Abasolo.

"I want to do that when I feel like it's the correct time", Kraus told Lindsay, saying he didn't feel ready to get down on one knee.

After a season spent adding many historic firsts to the 15-year-old franchise - and one that has been accused of race-baiting by highlighting race-fueled arguments this season- Lindsay's choice remains a trailblazing one, as Abasolo, who is Colombian, joins a small handful of diverse winners in the show's combined 34 seasons. It's nearly like the story of a woman being so madly in love with a man that goes away for a while so she picks the other guy in her life that loves her but can't satisfy her heart like the first guy can.

It was especially upsetting for some Bachelor fans, since the original spoilers said Rachel picked Peter, only to be corrected later to say she picked Bryan. "It just makes you realize that there are some really bad people out there, and for some reason, he felt the need to say that to me", she says. "I live in LA and I think Rachel was in LA at the time, and I have a gym that I train at". I want someone who wants to move towards marriage. "There's a lot of drama on the show so I think they made a decision to air that and leave out in-depth conversations". Reality shows, as we all know in our collective heart of hearts, have a significantly-less-than-sterling track record when it comes to generating deep and lasting love - so Peter's hesitations when it comes to popping the question (as I've said previously) make flawless sense to my ears. Lindsay, the thirteenth Bachelorette contestant on ABC's series, The Bachelorette, is a proud Dallas native and an avid sports fan having earned a degree in sports management at the University of Texas and graduating from Marquette University Law School with a concentration in sports law. I still was running away from it. It's hard for me to not interpret her repeated comments about how "Peter messed with my mind" as "He was challenging me with reasonable arguments". When she met Abasolo's family during the hometown meetings, Abasolo's mother called her son the "love of her life". I think he would make the most interesting season. But you don't have to take my word for it.

PETER KRAUS: I still care about you deeply to this day. "I think it was okay". Yes, Bryan, you remember him right?
