The wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif might not be able to contest upcoming elections in NA-120 on the symbol of "lion" despite representing Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.

Addressing a huge gathering in Gujarat on the third day of his journey from Islamabad to Lahore via the Grand Trunk (GT) Road to display his political might, Sharif said even the judges who disqualified him failed to point out a single example of corruption against him.

Sharif said that every time the country is pulled back when it reaches at a takeoff stage.

Sharif embarked on a roadshow from Islamabad to his ruling party's stronghold Lahore on Wednesday in a show of strength ahead of the crucial general elections next year.

According to DawnNews, the child was among a crowd of supporters gathered to greet Nawaz Sharif as his motorcade passed through Lalamusa.
