Add in the fact that Jennifer Lawrence never does say anything, and we really only see her walk for a few seconds, and the trailer for Red Sparrow is in unique territory indeed.

Lawrence plays Dominika Egorova, a Russian ballerina who is recruited into the "Sparrow School", a part of the Russian intelligence service. As a daughter completely devoted to her mother with an uncertain future ahead of her, she's manipulated into becoming a Red Sparrow, a young person trained to use her body and mind as weapons.

If it sounds a tad familiar (if ludicrous), many fans might be forgiven for confusing the plot with the remarkably similar back story of Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow from the Avengers movies.

He added: "I am a big middleweight and don't want to give my advantage away, but there is not a super-middleweight that I fear". The Kazakhstani fighter has looked less than overwhelming in his last two outings. "The fight is huge" said Golovkin.

The film reteams Lawrence with Francis Lawrence (no relation, apparently), who directed Catching Fire and Mockingjay, and features a strong cast outside of J-Law and Edgerton. The film, also starring Charlotte Rampling, Matthias Schoenaerts, Jeremy Irons and Mary-Louise Parker, is set to release on the big screens in March 2018. Dominika emerges from this sadistic training process as the most risky Sparrow of them all. Dominika will then encounter a C.I.A. agent, who tries to convince her he's the only one she can trust as the lives of everyone she cares about fall at risk.

The trailer opens up with Lawrence sitting on a bed in a red dress listening to a clock tick.

Red Sparrow comes to United Kingdom cinemas in March 2018.
