Netflix's 'Last Chance U' Football Player Brothers Charged With Murder

A star of the Netflix Original Series, "Last Chance U", Wright was a popular figure in the first two seasons of the show.

Camion Patrick, 22, was arrested Wednesday by police in Bloomington and his 20-year-old brother Isaiah Wright was arrested Wednesday in Tennessee.

Wright, a running back, earned a scholarship offer from Auburn but also went to East Mississippi, site for the "Last Chance U" series.

Patrick, 22, a former Tennessee recruit who also played two years at EMCC (before the NetFlix series was filmed there), most recently was a member of the University of IN football team IN 2016. He signed on with West Georgia University but left the school before the start of the season. As of a few weeks ago he was no longer part of their football program and no longer enrolled at the school.

Edie Windsor, Civil Rights Icon and Hero, Has Died
The New York Times and the Associated Press confirmed Windsor's death with her wife and her attorney. Thea Spyer and Windsor became a lifelong couple and in 1967, Spyer proposed.

Alcoa Police stated that they charged the other two suspects, 21-year-old Keshawn Hopewell and 28-year-old Itig Green in August. An Indiana spokesman confirmed to USA Today that Patrick has been suspended from the university.

Patrick, who also appeared on the Netflix show and previously played at EMCC, was suspended by the IN football team after he was arrested IN Bloomington.

Wright was a key figure in the "Last Chance U" series in its latest season. He remained in custody in Bloomington, Ind., pending his extradition to Blount County. IU confirmed to the network on Thursday, however, that Patrick has now been suspended as he awaits extradition in an in jail.

Wright was arrested Wednesday in Harriman and was expected to be transferred to the Blount County Jail.
But though featured characters on the show have faced criminal charges for drug crimes, assault and armed robbery, Wright's homicide charge certainly appears to be the most serious. A running back, Wright clashed with head coach Buddy Stephens and dealt with his fiancee's pregnancy and miscarriage.
