Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Last DLC Characters Announced

Capcom has officially confirmed the list of upcoming DLC characters for the first Season Pass of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. New additions like Captain Marvel are a blast to learn, and I never felt like I was limited in my character selection. The six characters will release over the course of 2017. Monster Hunter is huge in Japan, plus Capcom could use this addition to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite to drum up interest in the recently released Monster Hunter Stories on 3DS.

Capcom announced on its Unity Blog today that Sigma, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Venom, and a female Monster Hunter will be available later this year. What's surprising about the DLC characters is that it's mostly Marvel, with only two Capcom characters in Sigma and Monster Hunter. This is the first time we are hearing of Black Widow, however. Still, it's good seeing the character in the game, and fans can have a field day shipping her with either Hawkeye or Winter Soldier.

In a statement to GameStop, Capcom confirmed the last four characters that will be coming as DLC.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite launches tomorrow, September 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The "2017 Character Pass" is included with the Deluxe Edition of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, which costs $89.99 versus the standard edition's $59.99.
