Where the film does get more involved is through its new villain: the delightfully sadistic Julianne Moore, aka Poppy: International Drug Cartel Recluse. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is Rated R for sequences of strong violence, drug content, language throughout and some sexual material.

Skyline in partnership with TNL Radio and Scope Cinemas will also host the first ever official double-feature fan screening to be held in Sri Lanka on 20 September.

Following the successful limited worldwide IMAX run of its predecessor in 2015, Kingsman: The Golden Circle reunites director Matthew Vaughn with stars Colin Firth, Taron Egerton and Mark Strong, along with franchise newcomers Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges.

The 2014 original movie, "Kingsman: The Secret Service", which ended with a symphony of exploding heads, comes off as nearly tame here, where lives are not precious and you never know who might go head first into industrial kitchen equipment or take a missile to the face.

Intercontinental Title Match Set For WWE No Mercy
Miz said that he'll still be champion after Sunday, Angle will still be a awful father, and Jordan will still be a bastard. Bayley made her return to Raw this week and got herself into the Raw Women's Championship match this Sunday at No Mercy .

"I didn't know you blended works", said Mark Strong, who reprises his role as tech wizard Merlin. On the evening of meeting Tilde's parents for the first time, a terrorist attack takes place killing all of the Kingsman agents besides Eggsy and Merlin. The survivors of the purge, Merlin (Mark Strong) and Eggsy, head to USA and call upon The Statesman, which is the American version of the Kingsman spy operation. That team on the other side of the pond is made up of an all star cast of its own, including Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones), Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum and Halle Berry. Thus, if we're really picking a victor among the Kingsman cast, it'd no doubt be Jack "J.B".

In truth, parts of Kingsman: The Golden Circle feel like a go-around and do over of the first, so if you enjoyed the puerile hyper-violent edges of the first one, it's more than likely there's plenty to enjoy here. "The Golden Circle" flushes nearly all of that goodwill down the loo with a cluttered story, a massive cast and choppy action scenes so computer-driven they look like test footage at a tech conference. From plot-twists and story arcs with a hint of suspense, to bursts of dark humour, the film strikes you as one that isn't merely aiming to live up to the success of the first instalment. The classy English star's unlikely reinvention as an action hero was the highlight of the first movie for many, and his endearing mentor/student relationship with Taron Egerton's Eggsy provided the heart of the film. There have been 26 James Bond films so far.

"Very many" followed, Egerton laughed.

It's a given that any film or television project with a comic book pedigree is going to require some sort of computer-generated wizardry to deliver the fantastical to the screen.
