Ben Roethlisberger tosses quintet of picks as Jaguars upset Steelers

Full disclosure, I do not want to be writing this article right now. So they needed to try and find themselves as they headed to Heinz Field in Week 5 to do battle with the always risky Pittsburgh Steelers.

How does that happen? But if the strategy pays off by way of a Steelers victory, it should be nothing for Pittsburgh to worry about if Brown is bottled up, as expected, by Jacksonville's coverage.

If the constant 300-yard games are in the past - and Roethlisberger's 312 yards Sunday marked his first 300-yarder in his last in 11 regular season tries, amusing enough - then winning with ball control and defense is the recipe. The Steelers took a 3-0 lead on Chris Boswell's 29-yard field goal.

Three times, the Steelers had a first-and-10 inside the Jacksonville 17. Ben Roethlisberger threw his first pick-six. Neither found the end zone, however.

From there everything went downhill. The defense held Baltimore under 300 total yards and forced them into three turnovers. Jacksonville now has 10 interceptions through five games.

Let's look at some positive things... Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier ripped a ball out of Jaguars tight end James O'Shaughnessy's hands.

Gordon wants to finish job in Slovenia
Scotland kept up the pressure in Slovakia's half in the closing moments. "I wasn't too bad to be honest with you". Scotland are second on 17 points, leaving them two better off than Slovakia and three in front of Slovenia.

Jalen Ramsey continues to call the Jaguars defensive backfield the best in the league. Their defense leads the league in sacks, with 18, and is formidable in coverage.

The Steelers starting quarterback has been extremely hard on his teammates for issues both on the field and off the field over the course of the last six months. He is questionable for today's game.

On the Jags' next possession, though, Fournette sealed the deal by busting a 90-yard touchdown run to put Jacksonville up 30-9. Benn has one reception on the season. However, it's hard remaining optimistic after today. It may not be a dominant defense play in and play out, but the Jaguars' defense has shown in five games it has special elements that could carry this team through a lot of this season. Or at least they should be.

The Jaguars also have some questions to answer about their own running game.

Each week, Monty Andrews breaks down some of the underlying betting mismatches on the National Football League slate, giving you an inside edge when handicapping the schedule and setting your daily fantasy lineup. It doesn't get any easier for the Steelers, with the team traveling on the road to face the red hot Kansas City Chiefs next week.

The Steelers have had a tougher time defending the run, allowing 113 yards a game, better than only nine other teams.
