Rocky's Back: Sylvester Stallone Is Directing 'Creed 2'

Sylvester Stallone has announced that he will direct and produce "Creed 2" as a sequel to the 2015 boxing drama starring Stallone and Michael B. Jordan. That changed when director Ryan Coogler brought the idea of Creed to Stallone, and the results earned Stallone an Academy Award nomination. Previous discussions for the next installment had the story potentially mirror Rocky IV, or even take a page from The Godfather Part II playbook and feature recurring flashbacks to Apollo Creed before his death. Stallone also posted recently on Instagram saying he is back in the gym, working on getting fit for shooting, which begins next year. "There's a lot there." . Now, it has been confirmed from Rocky himself that he will be stepping behind the camera for the movie.

"Looking forward to directing and Producing The incredibly talented Michael B Jordan in CREED 2 next year ... 2018" and adding the hashtags #Creed 2 #mgm #fitness #Rocky.

Scotland kept up the pressure in Slovakia's half in the closing moments. "I wasn't too bad to be honest with you". Scotland are second on 17 points, leaving them two better off than Slovakia and three in front of Slovenia.

It also turned a solid box office performance with takings of $173m (£131m) worldwide.

Stallone has been teasing elements of the sequel for while now, pushing the idea that Donny may fight the son of Ivan Drago, the Russian boxer played by Dolph Lundgren in iconic 80s cheeseball classic Rocky 4. One thing is for sure, Stallone is no slouch when it comes to directing, so the excitement is peculating. Besides, it's not like Coogler hasn't moved on to greener pastures, and you can see him work wonders in Black Panther next year.
