Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP came under Congress fire on Saturday for demanding cuts to a Tamil film and claiming that the movie allegedly showcased "anti-Modi hatred" by mocking at the recently introduced GST.

Tamil Nadu BJP chief Tamilisai Sounderrajan's demand for cuts yesterday and it was taken up today by union minister Pon Radhakrishnan, who said, "The film producer should remove the untruths regarding GST from the film. I have seen the clipping of the movie in which a question was asked on tax, in a democratic country every citizen has right to ask question", Congress leader Sushmita Dev told ANI.
