Pennsylvania state police Lt. Eric Hermick tells WTAE-TV multiple shots were fired Wednesday afternoon near a Penn State Beaver dining hall.

Officials said an employee at Penn State Beaver was led outside by her estranged husband, where he shot her in the parking lot and then shot and killed himself.

The victim told campus police that her ex-husband had been harassing her at work.

We have now learned calls first came in as shots fired at the cafeteria at Penn State Beaver campus in the Student Union Building.

Police are investigating where Kelly purchased the guns and say there was no protection from abuse order filed against him.

The shooting happened in a parking lot. Police said they found Christmas presents at the scene.

No students were involved in the on-campus shooting at 100 University Drive in Monaca, university spokeswoman April Johnston-Smith said. "It appears to be some type of domestic violence issue here".

The school is on lockdown and activities have been canceled for the rest of the day.

The campus was closed on Wednesday, and ambulances were spotted arriving.
