Belichick shreds reporter over freaky question on Brady's trainer

Reportedly there's been a rift brewing between Guerrero and head coach Bill Belichick and now the team has made a decision to address, according to Bob Hohler of The Boston Globe.

Guerrero also has an office near the Patriots' locker room, but he is now only allowed to treat Brady at that location, according to the newspaper. They opened the TB12 therapy centre near Gillette Stadium in 2013, and the Boston Globe reported that Guerrero has treated a number of Brady's teammates, including Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.

As Tom Brady and Bill Belichick battle toward a sixth Super Bowl championship, a rift may be growing between the future Hall-of-Fame quarterback and head coach.

"Alex, it's been well-documented, has been a huge part of what I do, and I'm so fortunate to have him not only as a friend, but with everything that we've been able to do together", the quarterback told WEEI on Monday. The Boston Globe, however, cited that Belichick indicated to the Patriots' medical and training staff that his "hands were tied" in relation to Guerrero's alternative treatment approach because of Brady's status on the team.

NBC Sports Boston's Patriots reporter Mike Giardi responded to the report by noting that Guerrero was seen by reporters on two occasions in the team's locker room last week.

MA state regulators also stepped in when Guerrero began doing business with Brady at the TB12 Center.

There has been speculation about friction between Brady and Belichick because of Alex Guerrero's reduced role with the team.
