Friends and activists are visiting the NY hospital where Black Lives Matter icon Eric Garner's eldest daughter is in grave condition after a heart attack. "No one gave her justice", she wrote.

Erica's family tweeted this from her official account: "When you report this you remember she was human: mother, daughter, sister, aunt. her heart was bigger than the world".

Her father's final words, "I can't breathe", were captured on cellphone video and became a rallying cry for protesters against police brutality.

She had been hospitalized in Brooklyn, New York, after she reportedly went into cardiac arrest nearly a week ago.

She had been in a coma since 23 December after suffering a heart attack triggered by an asthma attack. "She left on her own terms".

He will takeover the seat previously held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. "The election is over, it's time to move on". In his own statement after the results were certified, Moore repeated his charge that the election was "fraudulent".

Following her heart attack, Reverend Al Sharpton gave a speech asking for prayers for the activist and saying that he'd visited her at the hospital, according to a report from the New York Daily News.

Her father, Eric Garner, died after a police officer subdued him with a chokehold in 2014. "Please continue to pray hard for Erica and pray for her family and kids just as much". Garner, 27, had suffered significant brain damage this week after a heart attack, representatives said. It was during the pregnancy that she was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and suffered her first heart attack shortly after the delivery.

Ms Garner became a prominent member of the Black Lives Matter movement following her father's death.

"These people will co-opt anything to push their agenda", Garner said, calling out Clinton's campaign team on Twitter.
