According to Mike Pence gay is a choice, and he has said keeping gays from marrying is not discrimination but an enforcement of "God's idea".

Pitkin County Sheriff Joe DiSalvo told the Aspen Times that one of his deputies was present when a man emerged from his home and draped the banner over a stone pillar.

"He was real sheepish and thought he might be confronted by the Secret Service or deputies who'd tell him he couldn't do it", DiSalvo said.

The Pitkin County Sheriff's office told us the same neighbors who hung the banner also brought some chili and cornbread to the secret service agents guarding Pence's house.

"We're not here to control your free speech rights", one of the agents said.

Pence, who has often described himself as "a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order", has a long history of opposing same-sex marriage and other policies that provide equal protections to members of the LGBT community.

Turkish newspapers report Erdoğan plans to pay 45% up front and borrow the rest in loans from Russian Federation . The S-400 can engage targets at a distance of 400 kilometers and at an altitude of up to 30 kilometers.

Rumors swirled around that Pence was an advocate of conversion therapy but this was denied by his spokesman.

Prior to becoming vice president, then-Indiana Governor Pence signed a religious freedom bill into law in 2015, only to issue a clarification after the state was threatened with widespread boycotts over concerns the law discriminated against the LBGT community.

He has also been accused of being a proponent of "conversion therapy", a practice which purports to change individuals' sexual orientation via spiritual intervention.

The paragraph said federal dollars should go to 'institutions which provide assistance to those seeking to change their sexual behavior'.

According to a report published by The New Yorker back in October, Donald Trump joked during a meeting with a legal scholar that Mike Pence wants to kill all gay people.

Fox News confirmed the Aspen Times's reporting that Pence's family arrived Tuesday and is expected to stay until New Year's Day.
