Pitt raised his bid mid-auction from $90,000 to $120,000 after Clarke's "Thrones" co-star Kit Harington said he'd watch the show with the victor as well. Pitt was outbid by an unspecified person during Sean Penn's yearly charity event in Los Angeles to benefit Haiti.

The bidding started - as Emilia watched - at a modest $20k but quickly soared at the hands of Brad to $80k.

Meanwhile, Emilia outbid Leonardo DiCaprio - who was honoured at the gala for his work combating climate change - for a painting by Josh Smith, paying $90,000 to trump his $80,000 offering for the artwork. Unfortunately, he was outbid and the prize ended up going to someone else for $180, 000, but we still can't help but wonder what would have happened if he did win.
