Due to the KeyOne's success, TCL announced a new Bronze Edition this week at CES.

The first new product TCL is planning on introducing is the GSM unlocked, BlackBerry Motion, set to come to U.S markets beginning January 12 - the device will be available online at Amazon and BestBuy.com, retailing for $449.99 United States dollars. This includes launching with key partners like AT&T, Sprint, Rogers, Bell, TELUS, Amazon, Best Buy, Vodafone, MediaMarkt, Orange, Carphone Warehouse, JD.com, Telefonica and many more.

Last year's BlackBerry KEYone, which launched at MWC 2017, was an attempt to merge BlackBerry's security and enterprise strengths with the flexibility and popularity of Android.

"With new BlackBerry smartphones from TCL Communications now available in 50 countries around the world, we have a solid foundation to continue building upon our portfolio in the new year".

Flight to Hong Kong diverted to Anchorage
As the plane made its unplanned landing in Alaska, the man cooperated with the flight crew and sat in his seat, KTVA reports. The passenger was met by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and airport police as he was removed from the plane.

Like the Black Edition of the keyboard-toting handset, the Bronze Edition comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, up from the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage on the standard KeyOne.

TCL gave a Q1 2018 launch window for the Bronze Edition KEYone, but hasn't released pricing information.

However it goes further than that, with Alain Lejeune, Global General Manager for BlackBerry Mobile confirming that it will launch "at least two new phones" in 2018. The phone runs a pretty lightly skinned version of Android 7.1 with a good handful of BlackBerry software tweaks, many of which BlackBerry says will be trickling down to the KeyOne.
