The Home and Away actress had been in an induced coma since the crash two weeks ago, which also claimed the life of the driver of the other auto involved.

Jessica's extended family had kept a bedside vigil in the Intensive Care Unit at St George Hospital where she was in a medically induced coma.

The Daily Telegraph reported that a decision had been made to switch off her life support.

The hospital on Friday confirmed Jessica's life support had been switched off, saying it will provide the next update on Jessica's condition at midday and again at 4.30pm.

Her parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60, died at the crash scene on the Princes Highway near Sussex Inlet, south of Sydney.

Falkholt's family were laid to rest after a funeral at St Mary's Catholic Church in Concord on Wednesday.

Falkholt's parents, Lars and Vivian, both died in the accident, while the actress and her sister, Annabelle, were found unconscious.
