Nintendo Switch Has Already Outsold The Wii U's Lifetime Sales

Nintendo has raised its operating profit forecast for the year to the end of March by a third, after phenomenal Switch sales fuelled the company's most profitable quarter since 2009.

"Odyssey" launched on October 27, 2017. After all, if they continue with this level of consoles shipped out and bought, they can finally return to their spot as a viable competitor against Microsoft and Sony.

Supporting the Switch for a longer period might imply that Nintendo will upgrade the platform's hardware in the years to come, although this is merely speculation at this point. That's not just hyperbole - that's mathematically true. Other popular games included Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which sold more than 7 million copies, and Splatoon 2, which sold nearly 5 million copies.

Nintendo, which also makes the 3DS portable console, has scored success in offering games for smartphones and other devices that aren't Nintendo machines - a move the company had resisted for years, but an area that is yielding strong results.

Manchester United 'will not allow Daley Blind to join Roma'
Blind made 39 appearances in all competitions last season for United , but he has only started three games in the Premier League this term.

Since the Switch has only been available for about 10 months, only so many people have bought it thus far - the PlayStation 4 has been around since 2013, and there are over 70 million in the wild. Well, this story is about just that, as developer Wales Interactive has teamed up with the crew at Brainseed Factory to bring the puzzle platformer title Typoman to the Nintendo's latest hybrid handheld. Of the seven games that sold over one million copies, three games sold over six million copies each. If I'm right about this, then it would make sense for Nintendo as a company to completely milk the 3DS for everything it's worth in its previous year. Apparently Nintendo is "maintaining a base" of around 20 million players monthly.

Nintendo has yet to announce anything about the games coming out in the second half of the year, so we don't know anything for sure.

Nintendo Switch Online is one of the most anticipated additions to the Nintendo Switch in 2018, alongside new games such Kirby Star Allies and the port of Bayonetta 2.
