Arizona Cardinals receive three compensatory draft picks

Cornerback Brendan Langley (No. 101) and quarterback Chad Kelly (No. 253) were chosen with two of the team's four compensatory picks in 2017.

The Giants will receive an extra fourth-round selection in the upcoming draft after the National Football League announced its compensatory picks on Friday.

Prior to 2018, the Chargers have had five compensatory draft picks since 2010: A fifth-rounder in 2016, a seventh-rounder in 2012, a sixth-rounder and seventh-rounder in 2011 and a fifth-rounder in 2010. The Packers lost T.J. Lang, Jared Cook and Micah Hyde, among others, last offseason, while the Cowboys watched Ronald Leary, Barry Church, Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne depart.

The Packers are one of the fifteen organizations being awarded a share of the 32 compensatory draft choices this year.

The Packers received four extra draft picks for the upcoming draft because of a long list of players that they let out the door to free agency. In addition, they will have two fourth-round picks, two fifth-round picks, a sixth-round pick and a seventh-rounder.

The total of four third-round picks awarded marks a major departure from 2017, in which 11 such selections were given.

The new pick comes just one spot from the end of the entire draft, at number 255 overall. Irrelevant, unless they trade the pick.
