Most of the clips are of the young girl singing songs she wrote herself.

"I'm accused of everything, accused in all ways, accused of what they say, what they say", she sounds to sing in one of her songs, which many today interpret as a desperate cry of help.

When found in January, the children hadn't been to a doctor in over four years and had never been to a dentist, prosecutors said.

Louise and David Turpin were arrested in the torture and child endangerment case in Perris, Calif.

Both parents are now being held on $12 million bail, respectively, and face up to life in prison if convicted on all charges.

One of the Turpin children had a secret YouTube channel. David Turpin was also charged with one count of a lewd act on a child under the age of 14 by force, fear or duress. Some neighbours said they were unaware there were children in the house. They said the couple shackled the children to furniture as punishment and had them live a nocturnal lifestyle.

David Turpin, 57, and wife Louise, 49, are in custody as they wait for their next court date - 23 March.

Authorities also allege that the Turpins only fed their children one meal a day and only let them shower once a year.
