They marched against gun violence in solidarity with the March for Our Lives event in Washington, D.C. Students throughout the United States joined the movement by forming similar marches in their own hometowns.

A pair of high school students from London have organized a rally against gun violence in the wake of the Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting that took place February in Parkland, Florida.

"We believe we've got a very important mission with our work with serious mental illness as well as our ability to do research on the causes of violence and the causes behind tragedies like this so that is a priority for us especially at the Centers for Disease Control", Azar said. The University of Cincinnati junior continued, "Because I see a lot of snowflakes, and together we make up a snow storm". Demonstrators from across the country will march against gun violence tomorrow in cities from NY to Los Angeles, Chicago to Atlanta, and small towns in between.

Members of the 2007 and 2008 Red Lion High School graduating class led a March for Our Lives protest that drew hundreds from around the region.

The Riverside County events - in Riverside, Hemet, Coachella Valley, Idyllwild and Temecula - are among the more than 800 rallies taking place across the country.
