The world was understandably outraged by Floyd Mayweather's response to his former-opponent Conor McGregor's recent problems outside of the octagon.

"Money" Mayweather, who in March confirmed he applied for an MMA license, spoke to Showtime's Jim Gray on Saturday in Las Vegas about coming out of retirement and joining UFC.

"Retirement has been great, but as you know and everyone knows, I go in retirement, and I come back", said Mayweather (transcript courtesy of MMA Junkie). It is possible I do come back.

"I can do whatever I want, when I want to, and how I want to", he said. Mayweather announced his latest retirement following a 10th-round technical knockout win over Conor McGregor in a boxing match at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26. If we can get together with Dana White and the UFC to make a mega-fight happen-one fight-it could be against Conor McGregor.

But Floyd Mayweather would still be keen on switching codes.

Mayweather added people should know he is not serious when he says this will be his last time in the ring. Both fighters walked away with record-setting paydays after Mayweather defeated the debut boxer via a tenth round TKO.

American orders 47 787s for fleet replacement
American Airlines placed an order for 47 Boeing 787 Dreamliners on Friday, almost doubling its fleet of that model. Bloomberg on March 23 reported that American had ruled out a competing Airbus bid for the A330neo.

"Abslutely", Mayweather answered when asked if he wanted to fight in the UFC before walking that back a little: "Only if the money is right".

When informed of Mayweather's request during the UFC 223 post-event press conference in Brooklyn, N.Y., White responded bluntly.

Lobov was subsequently pulled from the card, while McGregor was arrested and released on $50,000 bail.

So will Mayweather actually set foot in the Octagon at some point?

It was a very long and frustrating process to get McGregor into a boxing ring to face Mayweather, so we'll have to wait and see if the case is the same with Mayweather's potential transition to the UFC.
