Warriors force Game 7 against Rockets

Wanting to win a Game 7 is admirable, but leaves room for disappointment.

The Rockets played well in the first half of Game 6 versus the Warriors.

The Warriors went on to win 115-86 to force a Game 7 and were fueled by their four-headed monster, including Curry (five) and Klay Thompson (nine) combining for 14 made 3-pointers.

Rockets star Chris Paul is receiving treatment "around the clock" on his injured right hamstring and coach Mike D'Antoni hopes it will only be a matter of days before he is healthy enough to play again.

With Iguodala sidelined, the Warriors have lacked wing help against the Rockets playing small ball.

James Harden had a team-high 32 points for the Rockets, including 15 in the first quarter. If he can not come up big and get Golden State back to the NBA Finals, the critics will only grow louder for Durant. In Game 5, only five points.

"I have to focus and try to do the same things that I prepared today to take into Sunday", Hill said after Game 6.

"We're not going to be coy with it". Early on, we couldn't believe what we were seeing.

The fight to protect that law has resulted in women being denied medication they needed and in some case, dying. Many young, conservative women share pro-life views, including 21-year-old Dublin student Maria Maynes.

The Warriors outscored Houston 93-47 over the final three quarters. The fact that he's averaged 25.1 and 26.4 points per game in two regular seasons with Curry, Thompson, and Green by his side only adds onto the significance of his success. Curry did it again moments later from deep. Trailing by 17 after one quarter and by 10 at halftime, it appeared that what was supposed to be a march to a second straight title might end in a loss to a Rockets team without Chris Paul on Golden State's home court.

Yellow-clad Oracle came alive, too.

The Golden State Warriors dominated the rest of the way to stretch the series to the limit.

Whatever happened to EG3 in the second half, he was lights out in the first, hitting threes and getting to the basket. The Warriors shot 4 for 18 in the first half from long range.

Golden State stormed home to win the final quarter 31-9 when a close finish looked in store. "So for us that's our challenge to have the same mentality we had for the last 36 minutes of (Game 6) and bring that from the jump in Game 7". The Rockets had 21 on Saturday night to only 12 for the Warriors. He quickly grabbed a rebound. So pressure doesn't seem to bother him much.

"He's devastated. He has to be". We're all devastated for him.

"I don't know if I was born for it, but I definitely worked my butt off to get to this point", Thompson said of his clutch performance in the win over the Rockets, before reconsidering. "He's so integral in what we do and the spirit of the team".
