Trump weighs in on cancellation of 'Roseanne'

The reboot of Barr's "Roseanne" show was canceled earlier this week after she fired off a racist tweet mocking Valerie Jarrett, a White House aide under President Barack Obama.

A spokeswoman for Sanofi, the pharmaceutical company that makes Ambien, said in response to Barr's tweets about taking the sedative: "While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication". She wrote, as CNN reports:"guys I did something unforgivable, so do not defend me".

Roseanne has since issued an apology to "her cast members and to African Americans", but followed her redress by saying she was just "Ambien tweeting". "She is a fucking asshole, but so am I. No one ever stood up to her like I did".

She urged people not to defend her and said of her Jarrett tweet that she was "ambien tweeting" at 2 a.m.

Caputo is the chief marketing officer for the start-up and thinks the time is right to bring the sitcom on board given that the show got the ax from ABC because of Barr's racist comments.

On the other hand, this tweet came shortly after Barr retweeted a celebration of President Donald Trump's announcement he was pardoning Dinesh D'Souza because he was "treated very unfairly by our government!" "And he said to me, oh my gosh, you married up in the world". I BLAME MYSELF OK? it's just an explanation not an excuse, Ok, bully?

Pictures showed them shaking hands and embracing on the North Korean side of the Demilitarized Zone separating the two nations. He has played a central role in the recent thaw in relations between the North and South Korea, as well as the United States.

After her firing, Barr said she was leaving Twitter, but has continued making several statements, including one where she blamed the sleep aid Ambien for the tweets that resulted in the show's cancellation.

In the past, the Republican president has cited the program's popularity as evidence that his supporters, who include Barr, want shows that speak to their concerns.

"I'm not a racist, I never was & I never will be", she also wrote.

Sara Gilbert, who played Barr's daughter in Roseanne, said her co-star's comments were "abhorrent".

"I am going to tell you the truth, she wanted it to happen, if you saw how her tweets escalated this weekend", he claimed.
