Manchester City 'not disappointed' over losing Jorginho to Chelsea - Guardiola

Manchester City's new record signing Riyad Mahrez, Joe Hart and France World Cup victor Benjamin Mendy have been included in the club's squad for the summer tour to the United States.

Ireland under-19 global Tyreke Wilson has been called into the Manchester City squad for their pre-season tour of the US. If they want to come, that's great but if he wants to go to Chelsea, all the best for him.

"English football receives an exceptional player". All the best for him.

Hart spent last season on loan at West Ham, however, the former England number one is in the squad as he searches for a permanent move away.

Hart will be given the chance to stake a claim for the 'keeper's jersey at City this season, although he will first have to dislodge Ederson, who made 45 appearances for them last season, and his deputy, Claudio Bravo.

A number of City's stars are absent for the pre-season fixture following the World Cup in Russian Federation. "We are so happy to have him here".

Jose Mourinho reveals one worry ahead of Premier League season
I hope that he understands why he was very good. "It's not good for me, for the team". Mourinho added: "To win the World Cup can only be a positive thing".

Manager Pep Guardiola was not expecting any of his World Cup players to join up with the squad but has been boosted by the news that Mendy and Portugal global Bernardo Silva will join the tour later next week.

Guardiola is prepared for Hart to "stay here" if no acceptable offer materialises. He is training like a young guy of 18 years old.

City play Chelsea in the Community Shield on 5 August before opening their league campaign at Arsenal a week later.

"We have the same players (from last year), except one person - Mr Toure". 'We tried, we thought already it was done.

Regarding Jorginho, Guardiola said: "I'm not disappointed".

"I really hope that it is a good fit for the game over here and I will certainly be doing everything I can to make sure it works out".
