Motorola Moto Z3 announced: Specs, features and United Kingdom release date rumours

Motorola has finally announced its Moto Z3 smartphone with support for Moto Mods. Like we said, there will also be an accompanying 5G Moto Mod which when attached to the phone, will allow it to hook onto 5G networks. Earlier, it launched the Moto Z3, a mainstream phone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Due to smaller bezels, there's no fingerprint scanner on the front below the display, and, neither is there one at the back. However, it's the battery that steals the spotlight here. The company did showcase the demo of the 5G Moto MOD, which supported 5G connection with 1Gbps or greater data transfer speeds.

On Thursday, Motorola unveiled the Moto Z3, its new phone and the first on the market that can be upgraded to access 5G networks. And now, as expected, Motorola unveiled the Moto Z3 at its event that it had scheduled at its headquarters in Chicago. The Moto Z3 will go on sale exclusively through Verizon in Ceramic Black, starting August 16th, NDTV gadgets reports. However, with the Moto Z3 launching at $460 in the United States, it seems that we might get it for less than the Z2 Force. It'll be for Verizon's 5G network, and it will come "early in 2019", according to Verizon network chief Nicola Palmer.

However, the Motorola company eventually confirmed that no more Moto Z-Series models will debut this year.

Moto Z3 has the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, upgradable to Android P, and comes with a full HD 6-inch AMOLED display (1080 × 2160 pixels) along with a ratio of 18: 9 Max Vision and a protection for Gorilla glass 2.5D Corning. The Snapdragon 835 SoC is paired with 4 GB RAM, hence, don't expect the performance of the Moto Z3 to be as good as this year's flagships that come with Snapdragon 845 and at least 6 GB RAM. It also includes an 8MP front-facing camera. Moto Z3 can be bought for $20 per month for 24 months and Motorola is offering up to $300 off on the phone under its device payment plan. Besides, the Moto Z3 also comes with Motorola's one-button navigation that lets you navigate across the UI using gestures on the bar located at the bottom of the screen. In the rear panel, we get the pin connector for the Moto Mods.
