Browns QB Baker Mayfield Wont’ Miss Hue Jackson After Firing

With Hue Jackson having been fired by the Browns on Monday, the most popular name that is coming up as his potential replacement is Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley.

Freddie Kitchens has officially been promoted to Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator, replacing Todd Haley after the Black Monday firings in Berea.

Hue Jackson's failed, flawed tenure with the Cleveland Browns is finally over. In the interim, it will be defensive coordinator Gregg Williams - he of the Bountygate scandal - taking the reins, according to ESPN.

After a promising start to the season, the Browns lost three straight games, as calls for a change grew louder from the fans.

The Shanghai Composite index slipped 1.6 per cent to 2,561.36 and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index skidded 1.8 per cent to 24,785.68. Helped by tax cuts, the economy expanded at a 4.2 percent annual pace from April through June, fastest in almost four years.

Arguably, the entire coaching staff should be banished, but half the season remains for the 2-5-1 Browns following a 33-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Browns will face the Chiefs in Week 9 action Sunday.

Jackson is the fourth head coach since the end of the 2012 season owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam have fired.

The Cleveland Browns will soon begin searching for a new head coach who can turn Baker Mayfield into a franchise quarterback, and they may look at the man who helped mold Mayfield into a star as a possible candidate.
