This year marked the 19th anniversary of Heidi's annual Halloween bash and she admitted her costumes have grown more elaborate over the years - which can also be risky.

Last night, she hosted her 19th annual Halloween party in NY, which predictably was attended by a bagful of stars, including Neil Patrick Harris and Mel B.

Klum has made headlines in the past for her outrageous Halloween getups, including an old lady, the monster from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video, Jessica Rabbit, and more.

This year she lived up to her own unrivalled standards, bringing Princess Fiona from Shrek to life alongside her boyfriend Tom Kaulitz, who metamorphosed into her ogre husband.

"This is actually the first time I've heard about it, and I haven't really thought about it, but I kind of feel like, no, Halloween is on Halloween", Hamburger said.

The pair arrived in "Shrek" fashion... in an onion carriage, which they joked was "too short".

Klum chose Princess Fiona as her green inspiration, she revealed on Instagram, and no, the former Project Runway host did not simply put a mask over her famous face. But she said the design conception began months ago.

Simply captioning the image with two love hearts, the German model appeared to buddy up with musician boyfriend Tom Kaulitz in donning full-body ogre attire.
