Hundreds of miles south, authorities in Los Angeles and Ventura counties have ordered the evacuation of 75,000 homes, as a wildfire bears down on the beach town of Malibu.

Officials said the mandatory evacuations clogged the roads in Oak Park, making it hard to escape. Malibu lies along 21 miles of coastline and is home to 13,000, Hollywood stars among them. The reality star's lovely home in the Malibu Hills was destroyed in the Woolsey fire, which is burning out of control. Residents are under instructions to shelter in place.

That's equal to about 60 football fields per minute.

The blaze, known as the Woolsey Fire, is spreading south, has jumped a major highway and is now threatening coastal areas including parts of Malibu.

Fire officials state a significant number structures have been damaged or destroyed and is estimated to be over 8,000 acres.

The 69-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to update her followers that she "had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home". She added that her husband, agent David Bugliari, was safe in NY and that her trainer was evacuating her horses.
