Kragthorpe, who's had the pacemaker since 2017 in order to stimulate his brain, had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2011.

Both LSU and Texas A&M officials are looking into the incident. LSU analyst Steve Kragthorpe was one of those included in the scrum, as had stepped in to de-escalate the situation, however it ended with him getting punched in his pacemaker. "I didn't go down, but I clutched over".

Texas A&M has not confirmed the identity of the attacker as of this writing, although the man was seen wearing an A&M shirt during the game and possessed an A&M sideline pass.

But the interception would be reviewed, and ultimately, overturned, leaving Texas A&M with fourth-and-18 to convert with the game on the line. It's now unknown whether the man who fought Faulk is an Aggies assistant, a team staffer or simply a fan who found his way onto the field.

The 74 points LSU allowed are the most ever given up by a ranked team, eclipsing the 73 No. 24 Fresno State gave up to Northern Illinois on October 6, 1990, and the first seven overtime game involving a ranked team.
