Today sees the launch of Season 7 in Fortnite (downtime for the update is taking place at the time of writing) and, as usual, there are lots of changes and additions taking place to keep things fresh.

New areas such as Frosty Flights and Polar Peak have been added to the map, and a new airplane has been added to the game so you can dominate your opponents from the air, too. With every new season, of course, comes a new Battle Pass.

According to the studio, "Each new season gives us an opportunity to evaluate the current item rotation".
