City officials were going to court Thursday to try to gain access, city Law Department spokesman Bill McCaffrey said.

Another video shows Kelly singing "Bump 'N Grind" - including the lyric "I don't want to hurt nobody, but there's something that I must confess" - and telling the crowd, "Somebody make some motherf**king noise".

TMZ reported that police received a call informing them that Kelly was at the club and there was a warrant for his arrest, but after officers arrived at the venue and made contact with the singer, they were informed there actually was no warrant. Now, he's about to be evicted from the infamous Chicago studio that he owns, according to The Blast. She said she ran away from home in Georgia, met Kelly in Florida and eventually came back to Chicago with him.

She urged anyone who may be a victim to come forward and call the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Division at 773-674-6492.

Critics suggested that Kelly's alleged abuse continued and was largely ignored because the victims were black women.

The docuseries aired over three days last week, and since then there has been mass outrage at the fact R. Kelly has been able to operate in the public eye for so long. One man pulled his hood up over his head before he entered the building, which appeared to be filled with a crowd.

Kelly has repeatedly denied all allegations against him. He also said it was inappropriate for a state's attorney to characterise allegations she'd seen on TV, prior to charges or even an investigation.

'I watched some of it yesterday, as much as I could tolerate, ' the music mogul, 47, said of the docu-series in an episode of Hip Hop Motivation this week. One accuser said Kelly forced her to have an abortion. "Until I saw the series and saw the survivors and realized he needs to be stopped".

He also added, "Narendra Bhai is one of the tallest leaders not just in this country, but in the world". The movie was in the talks for the past one year and finally the Narenda Modi biopic is happening.

Also Wednesday, two women contacted the Cook County State's Attorney's office with previously unreported accusations against Kelly.

The state's attorney's call to action followed reports that Kelly is under criminal investigation in Georgia.

On Tuesday, Foxx said her office has been in touch with two Chicago-area families who have lost touch with relatives - both women over 18 - who the families claim were coerced by Kelly into staying with him. In July 2017, multiple parents told Buzzfeed that Kelly was holding their daughters in a "cult".

The Associated Press reported that in 2008, a Cook County jury acquitted Kelly on 14 counts of child pornography after he was accused of engaging in sex acts with a girl as young as 13.

R. Kelly wasn't about to let controversy get in the way of celebrating his birthday.

Speaking with Hip Hop Motivation in a video posted on January 5, 2019, Damon Dash, who's known for co-founding Roc-A-Fella Records with rapper Jay-Z and producer Kareem "Biggs" Burke, opened up about his knowledge of R. Kelly throughout the years.

The city action in court Thursday is exclusively to try to gain access to the building for an inspection - not for anything related to any criminal case, McCaffrey said. "We can not seek justice without you".
