Pacific Northwest residents who are more accustomed to rain than snow were digging out from a winter storm and bracing for more on Sunday.

"Through Tuesday morning, 2-5" of snowfall for most of the area. "The most significant snowfall is expected across the higher terrain of the Washington and Oregon Cascades, where 1 to 3 feet of snow is likely".

Most areas in western Washington will pick up at least a few more inches of snow, if not more.

Freezing rain warnings may be issued as the system draws closer.
