It was a simple match for Atletico Madrid as they received a goal through Saul in the 50th minute of the match.

The return leg in Turin saw Juve dominate the first half, with Ronaldo scoring a header in the 27th minute to make things interesting.

Atletico Madrid leads the tie 2-0 after defeating Juventus as the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in the first leg.

Ronaldo has picked up in Italy where he left in Spain since joining Juve from Real Madrid for £88million last summer - and the forward was at his world-class best with his triple against Atletico, which takes him to 24 goals in all competitions this season.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, who has scored a staggering 697 goals in 984 games during his career to date, told Juventus TV: "I have no secrets, just my dedication and my passion for this sport, I love to play football more than anything else". However, following a VAR review it was declared that Ronaldo had fouled Jan Oblak in the build-up. Bernardeschi also had several chances to extend Juve's lead, notably with an audacious overhead kick in the 35th minute which flew narrowly over.

Aamir Khan and his wife, Kiran Rao, Jackie Shroff, Rajkumar Hirani and his wife were also seen arriving for the ceremony earlier. Recently, there were rumours that the couple will tie the knot in a Christian wedding very soon.

With extra-time looming, Bernardeschi powered into the area and was pushed in the back by Correa, leaving Ronaldo to blast home the penalty to the delight of the Juve supporters. Leonardo Spinazzola makes his debut at the back!

Ronaldo did get the second goal three minutes after the break.

"You can't just talk about Ronaldo, Juventus are a great team with top players who are used to fighting important battles and are very strong in defence", said Simeone, who insisted there were no favourites despite his team's clear advantage.

Ronaldo met Joao Cancelo's cross with another powerful header and although Oblak clawed the ball away, goal line technology showed that it had crossed the line by centimetres and the referee signalled a goal.
