NFT, the acronym for Non-fungible token, is a digital file whose unique identity and ownership are verified on a blockchain and it is all the rage lately in the world of collectibles. It creates unique ownership over an asset and has been used to purchase art, games, music, and much, much more.

Kings of Leon recently got in on the trend by offering a NFT sale of their new album When You See Yourself. The sale brought in nearly $2 million for the band and gave fans the opportunity to buy three different kinds of tokens.

Now, Elon Musk is getting in the game.

The Tesla CEO has dabbled in music in the past including putting out an EDM track featuring Tesla’s Cybertruck as the song’s artwork.

Never one to pass up a good meme opportunity, Musk just shared his brand new track. A song about NFT’s, made available as its own NFT.

“I’m selling this song about NFTs as an NFT,” he wrote on Twitter when sharing the track. While there’s no context available as to whether or not he made the track or what his involvement is, the track certainly can serve as a cryptocurrency anthem.

The song plays over a visual of a rotating golden trophy as the words “Vanity Trophy” circle the top sphere. The base of the sphere features the lyric “Computers Never Sleep” while the popular crypto-slogan “HODL” (an acronym for ‘hold on for dear life’) is seen above it.
