STARKVILLE, Miss.—The recent excitement about Mississippi State’s campus is its new affiliation as a Bee Campus United states of america, a designation of the Xerces Modern society.

The university joins 122 campus affiliates throughout 44 states identified for benefiting pollinators. The MSU Bee Campus committee, consisting of school and staff in the School of Forest Assets and Faculty of Agriculture and Daily life Sciences, led the effort. Wes Burger, interim dean of the Higher education of Forest Sources, spoke to the great importance of safeguarding pollinators.
