Maria Marino delivers the vivid hues of her working day-time landscapes into the night time with her pastel nocturnes. We have requested some of our preferred artists to exhibit us examples of their night time paintings and to convey to us a very little bit about their processes in this series of Nocturne Notes.
Marino shared with us these two examples of her exuberant, expressive pastel nocturne paintings. She informed us that her goal is in “catching the secret of that unique time of night”
