Edik Baroni – Ensuring a Better Future for The World

To allow the proper functions to exist within the Mystical Body of Christ, it is necessary for a hierarchical structure to exist in order to bring about unity in its structure.

For the Christian community to persist and organise themselves after the departure of Jesus, it became necessary to establish governmental functions so that Christianity could display and express its identity as a visible gathered community.

This is where a Bishop comes in – a successor of Apostles who are sent out to guide the message of Christ and ensure that the Christianity community remains united at all times. As such, the Bishops serve as the guardians and servants of the communion – becoming the voice, sign and a means of salvation for the people.

Over the years, there have been a number of bishops around the world that have been making a remarkable influence among the public through their religious services. A prime example of a bishop that had been making significant contributions throughout their career is none other than

Being the first Armenian/Iranian bishop, Edik Baroni is one of the few people who is a prelate in the Ecumenical Catholic Church of Christ and the bishop of Personal Prelature of the Persian Communities Worldwide.

Throughout his childhood, Baroni had been interested in the Christian faith and the church and was determined at quite a young age to set out a career in his religious faith. At the age of 15, he wanted to become a priest; he started researching churches, priesthood, and religious life and finally joined the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Tehran which was managed by the Salesian Order in 1996.

Throughout his career, he kept enhancing his knowledge, honing his skills, and then he started his philosophical education at the Pontifical Salesian University in 1999. A couple of years later, he received a seminarian education and completed his studies that eventually led him to the beginning of his professional career.

In 2007, Baroni moved to Los Angeles and began working in the Fortune 40 best large workplaces as his secular job. For a couple of years, he held many different positions at the Bank of America until he finally gained the title of Assistant Vice President.

He was ordained as a priest in 2012 when he joined the Ecumenical Catholic Church of Christ. And with the consent of the Ecunemical Catholic Church of Christ’s Ecumenial Primate and the college of bishops, Baroni was elected and consecrated bishop in the Ecumenical Catholic Church of Christ.

Moreover, he became the founder and CEO of the Holy Apostolic Church of the United States and is the leader behind  ‘The Personal Prelature of the Persian Communities Worldwide’ – a community for clergy and laypeople who follow the Catholic and Apostolic Tradition of the Church, which also includes the seven worldwide recognized sacraments.

Hence, many people know Baroni as a humble and hardworking priest who is constantly working towards bringing justice from the religious discriminations plaguing the Middle East and many other poor countries around the world.
